Ek Pahel in association with Ashiana Mahila Samiti celebrated "International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficiking" to showcase ill effects of drug abuse and importance of rehabilitation for drug addicts to the children studying at Ek Pahel Pathshala and their mothers too. Students of Rising Youth Association presented a Nukad Natak on "Say Yes to Life & No to Drugs". Mr. Suresh Chand Gupta, Chairman - Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Agra was the honourable chief guest of the event and motivated students to stay away from the vicious circle of drugs and alcohol. Mr. Om Prakash Singh, Incharge - Adan Bagh Chowki was the guest of honour and shared the incidents of youngsters meeting accidents and committing crime because of drug addiction. Dr. Saroj Prashant, President - Ashiana Mahila Samiti with years of experience in rehabilitation centers, motivated the women to discourage the use of drugs, tobacoo, alcohol and fight against addiction of these. She also explained the importance and need of rehabiliation centres. Adv. Rohit Agarwal and Devansh Bhatt contributed to make the event successful. The event served its purpose by putting across the message in an interesting way.
